We are a small software development team based in Belgrade, Serbia. We build practical tools for manufacturing companies — starting with PMS, our digital work permit management system — and take on custom development projects for clients with specific operational needs.
Pharis started from a simple observation: large enterprise EHS software is expensive, slow to deploy, and built for corporations with dedicated IT departments. Small and mid-sized manufacturers — the backbone of industrial production across Central and Eastern Europe — are left managing work permits on paper forms, spreadsheets, and WhatsApp messages.
We built PMS to fix that. It is a focused, practical system that replaces paper permit workflows with a digital process that any facility can adopt in days, not months. No six-figure contracts. No year-long implementation projects.
Beyond PMS, we work with manufacturing and industrial clients who need software built around their specific processes — not the other way around.

For processes that don't fit off-the-shelf solutions. We build web-based applications for production tracking, quality management, maintenance workflows, and internal reporting tools — designed around how your facility actually operates.
Connecting existing tools — ERP systems, CMMS platforms, legacy databases — with new digital workflows. We handle the plumbing so your teams get the data they need without switching between disconnected systems.
We don't hand off and disappear. We maintain what we build, respond when something breaks, and extend systems as your requirements grow. Small teams working closely with clients is how we prefer to operate.
We spend time understanding the actual workflow before writing a single line of code. Permit management, for example, looks different at a pump manufacturer than at a food processing plant — the hazards differ, the approval chains differ, the people using the system differ.
We prototype quickly, put working software in front of users early, and iterate based on real feedback from the floor — not from a requirements document written six months before go-live.
Our stack is practical: Java Spring Boot on the backend, standard web technologies on the front. We choose boring, proven technology because industrial software needs to run without surprises for years at a time.
We are based in Belgrade, Serbia, and work with manufacturing clients across the region. Our location lets us work closely with Central and Eastern European facilities that are modernizing their safety and operational processes, often for the first time.
We work with clients remotely and on-site. Most implementations are handled remotely — PMS is a cloud-based system, and the deployment process is straightforward enough that we can walk a facility through it over a video call.
